Eastern United States.

Saproxylic habits.

Emerged and collected from oaks (southern red oak and water oak) (Gil 2008; Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a) and associated with dead oaks (Stephan 1989).

Conservation.

significantly associated with old forests (predating 1938 and oak dominated) in the Piedmont (Traylor et al. 2023 a).
