Saproxylic habits.

Prey upon bark and woodboring beetles and occurs under bark of various hardwoods, including hickory, and “ cedar ” (presumably Juniperus L. ( Cupressaceae)) (Hopkins 1893; Knull 1951; Dorshorst and Young 2008).
