Remarks. H. patellifera, as currently understood, is a complex consisting of more than one species (Schwarz et al. 2018a), with unclear limits of morphological variation, causing the long list of synonyms of this species. Wang et al. (2020a) added four Chinese species: H. yunnanensis Wang, 1993, H. xishaensis Wang, 1993, H. multispina Wang, 1993 and H. daqingshanensis Wang, 1993 as junior synonyms of H. patellifera .
Male genitalia (Fig. 13A–B) of specimens studied herein do not differ from those present in Wang et al. (2020a).
Ootheca (Fig. 15I–J, P) can be either barrel-like or rectangular. External wall dark brown, with white or beige external coating firmly cemented to it. Each egg chamber with delimited boundary, visible in the lateral view as longitudinal ridges that are arranged in parallel. Each single emergence area with flexible operculum that closes its corresponding opening, forming a short residual process.
