Material examined. 2♂, 1♀, CHINA, Yunnan, Baoshan, Mt. Gaoligongshan, 2.ix.2018, leg. Jiang Xiao.
Measurements [in mm, ♂ (n = 2), ♀ (n = 1)]. Body length, ♂ 68.4–59.2, ♀. Pronotum length, ♂ 13.1–15.0, ♀ 18.6. Pronotum width, ♂ 6.5–7.5, ♀. Forewing length, ♂ 44.5–49.6, ♀ 61.0.
Distribution. China (Yunnan); Laos; Malaysia; Myanmar; Thailand.
Remarks. Male genitalia of this species were described by Lombardo (1992) and photographed herein (Fig. 13 J–K).
Ootheca (Fig. 15A–D) barrel-liked. The proximal end of ootheca fully encircling (Fig. 15C–D) or flattened (Fig. 15A–B) on the substrate, with the ventral surface exposed and fixing the ootheca nearly perpendicular to the substrate. External wall russet brown to dark coloured, covered with wrinkles that nearly parallel to the substrate flat. External coating easily falling off. Egg chamber opening covered with closely adhering operculum, the flaps of which form a short residual process beyond the edge of the ootheca.
