Dichotomius (selenocopris) paresi Nunes & Vaz-de-Melloı 2016ı p. 85 (description)
Diagnosis. In the groupı D. paresi is separated of other species in the group (including the brachypterous) by the following combined characters: posterior portion of the pronotal disc bearing ocellate punctures; elytral striae widened near the basis and lacking punctures and anterior portion of pronotal border flattened (dorsal view) (Figure 6 (a-b)).
Distribution. Chapada dos Parecisı municipality of Tangará da Serraı state of Mato Grossoı Brazil (Figure 42).
