Host associations in Iran. Agonoscena pistaciae on Pistacia vera (Ferrière 1961; Ebrahimi et al. 1998; Emami & Mehrnejad 2002, 2004, 2006; Mehrnejad 2002a, b, c, 2008; Mehrnejad & Copland 2006, 2007), Pistachio psylla (Lotfalizadeh 2010b).

Distribution in Iran. Iran (Ferrière 1961; Herting 1972; Trjapitzin 1989), Kerman (Ebrahimi et al. 1998; Emami & Mehrnejad 2002, 2004, 2006; Mehrnejad 2002a, b, c, 2008; Mehrnejad & Copland 2006, 2007), East Azarbaijan (Lotfalizadeh 2010b).

General distribution. Palaearctic region (Iran, Turkey, Greece).
