Host associations in Iran. Coccus hesperidum on Oleander, Morus alba, Ailanthus altissima and Diospyros sp. (Lotfalizadeh 2010a).

Distribution in Iran. Tehran and Alborz (Lotfalizadeh 2010a).

Remarks. The report of Metaphycus angustifrons Compere, 1957 from Iran (Davoodi et al. 2003a, c, 2004d) is a misidentification of M. davoodii (see Lotfalizadeh 2010a).

General distribution. Endemic to Iran.
