Host associations in Iran. Sphaerolecanium prunastri on prunaceous trees (Talebi et al. 2009; Fallahzadeh & Japoshvili 2010), Eulecanium tiliae on Prunus dulcis and E. rugulosum on Pistacia atlantica (Fallahzadeh et al. 2016) .

Distribution in Iran. Razavi Khorasan (Talebi et al. 2009), Fars (Fallahzadeh & Japoshvili 2010; Fallahzadeh et al. 2016).

General distribution. Palaearctic and Oriental regions.
