General distribution. Palaearctic (Irano-Anatolian).

Remarks. According to Fallahzadeh et al. (2016) the report of Anagyrus matritensis (Mercet, 1921) (Fallahzadeh et al. 2006b) from southern Iran is a misidentification of A. archangelskayae .
