Published (original) locality: “in provincia Orenburgensi et in terris transuralensibus”.

Current status. Andrena (Melandrena) flavipes Panzer, 1799 (according to Pisanty et al 2022).

Remark. In the ZISP collection we have found one male labeled “ Andrena cinerascens, ♂ ” (handwritten by E. Eversmann), which corresponds to the original description of Andrena cinerascens Eversmann, 1852 and belongs to A. flavipes Panzer, 1799 . However, this specimen comes from the collection of Keferstein collected mainly from Germany. The female with similar labels [ Andrena cinerascens ♀ // Kef.] previously labeled by Osytshnjuk as “ lectotype ” belongs to A. mucida Kriechbaumer, 1873 .
