Andrena rufiventris Eversmann, 1852 (nec A. rufiventris Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau, 1841): 32, ♀.

Type locality: Kazan (Russia).

Published (original) locality: “in provinciis Casanensi et Orenburgensi”.

Lectotype: ♀, designated by Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 131, Kazan [Tatarstan Rep., Russia].

Current status. Andrena (Leucandrena) ventralis Imhoff, 1832 (according to Gusenleitner & Schwarz 2002: 810).

Remark. Although the lectotype specimen was designated by Osytshnjuk and reported as deposited in the ZISP collection (Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 131) we have not found it here at present.

Distribution. Europe, Russia (to Far East), Caucasus, Turkey, Central Asia, northern China, Korean Peninsula, Japan.
