Current name: Asystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson ( Acanthaceae).

Note: Heine (in Aubréville, Fl. Gabon 13: 135. 1966) indicated unspecified material in LINN as the holotype. However, he did not distinguish between sheets 28.27 and 28.28 (LINN), not part of a single gathering, so this is not an effective typification.
