Edosa malthacopis (Meyrick, 1936)

(Figs 5, 51)

Tinea malthacopis Meyrick, 1936: 53 .

Edosa malthacopis: Robinson & Tuck, 1996: 11 .

Remarks. The holotype of this species was collected in Taishan, Shandong Province in China, deposited in BMNH. K. R. Tuck checked and photographed the adult for us in this study. This species is not available for dissection due to a possible DNA Program. Edosa uncusella sp. nov. was also collected in Shandong Province, but its antennal flagellum is variegated, not unicolorous as in E. malthacopis . Edosa curvidorsalis sp. nov. and E. crayella are two widely distributed species in China, but E. malthacopis can be differentiated from them by the forewing with distal section dark brown, which is yellowish brown in the latter two species.
