Diagnosis. Edosa hendrixella (Fig. 72) is similar to E. cornuta sp. nov. in the male genitalia. The differences between the two species are stated under the diagnosis of the latter species.

Description. Adult (Fig. 42). Wingspan 8.5−12.0 mm.

Female genitalia (Fig. 91). Ovipositor length 2.0−2.8 mm. Eighth tergite tapered anteriorly, microtrichiate on posterior 1/3, with sparse setae on posterior margin. Eighth sternite deeply concave in triangle, microtrichiate laterally, with sparse setae on posterior margin; with one cylindrical protuberance medially, surrounding base of ductus bursae. Ostium at apex of cylindrical protuberance. Antrum absent; ductus bursae as long as corpus bursae. Colliculum comprising a pair of paddle-shaped processes spinose on distal half, arising from junction of ductus bursae and corpus bursae, invaginated into corpus bursae to level of second ring; second ring at posterior 1/4 of corpus bursae, with an apron-like ventral extension; inception of ductus seminalis opposite to apron-like extension of second ring. Corpus bursae elongate, ovate; signum absent.

Distribution. China (Yunan), West Malaysia (Perak).

Remarks. This species is newly recorded for China, and the female is described for the first time.
