Helina fuscibasis Emden, 1951

Examined type material: Holotype male seen; abdomen broken at level of tergite 4 (dissected). One male paratype from Kenya (Mt. Elgon, health Zone) dissected and illustrated.
Diagnosis. Dorsocentrals 1+3; katepisternals 1+2; fore tibia in male with a posterior seta; mid tibia with 1 anterodorsal and 2 posterior setae; hind tibia without posterodorsal seta; wing brown at base and on anterior transverse half; costal spinules not strongly developed.
Male terminalia. Sternite 5 longer than wide, with two stout setae on each lobe and with moderate-sized setae on disc (Fig. 9); cercal plate square; surstylus a little longer then cercal plate in lateral view (Figs 10–11); aedeagal complex with epiphallus longer than postgonite; distiphallus membranous on inner surface (Fig. 12).
