Eurychoera Thorell 1897

This genus remained monotypic for a long time with its type species E. quadrimaculata Thorell 1897 described from two females from Singapore, until a second species was described fom Yunnan Province in China (Zhang et al. 2004). Syntype females of the type species are illustrated and the male is described and illustrated here for the first time. It should facilitate comparisons with other records from countries between China, Laos and Singapore.
