Description. Adult (Fig. 9). Wingspan 18.0 ‒ 20.5 mm.
Head. Vertex and frons yellow in female, mixed with dark brown scales. Labial palpus in female: first segment with dark brown scales on outer surface; second segment with blackish grey scales, ringed with black scales near apex; third segment with black scales on ventral surface.
Other characters same as in male.
Female genitalia (Fig. 39): Papilla anale bell-shaped, with long setae. Apophysis posterioris slightly longer than twice length of apophysis anterioris. Eighth sternal plate concave at middle on posterior margin, with long setae. Lamella antevaginalis concave on posterior margin, produced posterolaterally, narrowly banded laterally. Ductus bursae weakly sclerotized posteriorly. Corpus bursae sub-spherical, granulate; signum being a plate with several stout thorns, apical thorn longest.
Distribution. China (Guangdong, Hainan).
Remarks. Irepacma lianzhouensis is transferred to Periacma on a basis of the female genitalia having developed apophyses anteriores, which are absent in Irepacma . The female of this species is described for the first time herein.
