Allopetalia Selys, 1873

A genus of only two species that are very restricted in distribution (Garrison et al. 2006). See Ris (1904) and Martin (1909) for identification. These large dragonflies apparently inhabit small streamlets on steep mountain sides in cloud forest. One species (Fig. 60) has been found in Ecuador.
