Archaeopodagrion Kennedy, 1939
This genus was thought to be endemic to Ecuador, but recently a new species from Colombia was described by Bota-Sierra (2017a). Adults are rather drab and difficult to detect as they perch in shady forested areas (Fig. 52). Three species are known from Ecuador, and two undescribed species have been collected (Tennessen, unpubl.; Haber, pers. comm.). The nymph is unknown.
