3. PHANEROPTERINAE BURMEISTER, 1838
This is the most speciose subfamily of Tettigoniidae, comprehending 2,803 described species distributed in 379 genera and 34 tribes (Cigliano et al. 2022). From this total, 294 species belonging to 66 genera are currently recorded for Brazil and, regarding the ParanĂ¡ State, a single species, Machima paranensis Rehn, 1950 (Dysoniini), was recorded so far. Here we present the first records of 56 species, seven tribes ( Microcentrini, Odonturini, Phaneropterini, Phyllopterini, Pycnopalpini, Scudderiini and Steirodontini) and three genus groups (Aniarae, Cosmophylla and Scaphurae) for the state.
