3.5. Odonturini Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878

Twenty-four species within Odonturini, belonging to six genera, are currently recognized in the Neotropical Region (Cigliano et al. 2022). This tribe, however, seems only to include the Ethiopic genus Odontura Rambur, 1838 (Grzywacz et al. 2018), and the Neotropical species will probably be placed in its own tribe (O. Cadena-Castañeda, pers. comm. to MF). We found four species that were recently recorded and/or described from individuals collected at the Iguaçu National Park (Fianco et al. 2019b).
