Costatrichia tapada (Oláh & Flint 2012) new combination

Acostatrichia tapada Oláh & Flint 2012: 154, figs. 32–34, male; type locality: Venezuela: Bolivar State, Rio Caroni at Paso Caruachi; type depository: NMNH.

Material examined: HOLOTYPE male: Venezuela: Bolivar State, Rio Caroni at Paso Caruachi, 9.II.1976, leg. C.M. & O.S. Flint. PARATYPES: same data as holotype, 2 males (NMNH).

Remarks. This species also has the typical forewing modification of Costatrichia (costal vein reflexed) and the male genitalia are very similar to those of Costatrichia hamulifera, if not identical. For this reason, this species is also removed from Acostatrichia to Costatrichia .
