Distribution in Croatia: Commonly found in the Dinaric Alps. Present but rare in the Pannonian region, Adriatic islands, and Dubrovnik area. Probably also present in other regions, but not yet recorded.
Distribution in Europe: From Italy and Greece to the Swedish islands Öland and Gotland and Northwestern European Russia (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
