Distribution in Croatia: Common in Istria and the Dinaric Alps, present on some Adriatic islands (Hvar, Brač). Records from Srijem (Graber 1870) are not confirmed and there are no new data on occurrence of this species in the Pannonian region.
Distribution in Europe: From Southern Italy and Northern Greece (southern distribution border) to Central Germany (northern border) and Eastern European Russia (eastern border) (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
