Distribution in Croatia: Common in the Dinaric Alps, no exact records or confirmed localities in other regions.
Distribution in Europe: In the Alps, the Carpathians, mountain ranges of the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and the Balkans to Greece. At northern latitudes also found at lower elevations (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
