Distribution in Croatia: Recorded in the coastal area (including southern slopes of the Dinaric Alps) and on numerous Adriatic islands. Most likely common but overlooked.

Distribution in Europe: Southern part of the continent, from Southern France, northern Italy and Slovenia in the north, to Portugal and Mediterranean islands (Lampedusa, Sicily, Crete, Cyprus) in the south, and Southeastern Ukraine in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
