First faunistic record for Croatia: Puskás et al. 2018

Distribution in Croatia: So far known from two localities—Pristanište, Mljet Isl. (15.X.2001, leg. Gy. Rozner, in Puskás et al. 2018) and Šibenik (Dalmatia) (Skejo VIII.–X.2016). Probably more widespread along the Dalmatian coast, but easily misidentified as O. pellucens .

Distribution in Europe: Found on the Canary Islands and in the Mediterranean from the Iberian Peninsula to Cyprus. Distribution still insufficiently known (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
