35. Phaneroptera falcata (Poda, 1761) = listokrili konjic srponoša
First faunistic record for Croatia: Frauenfeld 1861
Distribution in Croatia: Northwestern part of the Adriatic coast (Istria, Kvarner) with adjacent islands, in the Dinaric Alps and the Pannonian region. Historical records from Dalmatia and Dubrovnik area need confirmation, most likely misidentifications of P. nana as noted in Adamović (1964), and indicated by redetermination of specimens in MST collection (R. Kleukers, pers. comm.).
Distribution in Europe: Widely distributed, from Northern Iberian Peninsula, Central Italy, Balkan Peninsula with Greece and European Turkey in the south to England and Southern Sweden in the north, European Russia in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
