Distribution in Croatia: Widespread but not numerous in records. Present in all regions except Dubrovnik area (not recorded), but more common in the Pannonian region. Probably overlooked in the past.
Distribution in Europe: From Ireland, Southern Scandinavia and Estonia in the north to Central Portugal, Southern Italy and Northern Greece in the south, and Eastern Ukraine and Central European Russia in the east (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
