Pyrrhochalcia iphis (Drury, 1773)

The food plant illustrated in Cock (2010b, Figure 1) has been identified by M. Cheek, Kew, as Heritiera utilis ( Malvaceae, formerly Sterculiaceae; MJWC-322). The unidentified vine on which MJWC found a caterpillar (Cock 2010b, p.11) has been identified as Clerodendrum umbellatum ( Lamiaceae; MJWC-319), but since the caterpillar did not feed on leaves of this plant, it should not be considered a food plant.
