Manota whiteleyi Jaschhof & Mostovski, 2006

Material studied. 1 male, GHANA, Central Region, Kakum nr. Entwi Hrom, Malaise trap 8–15.xi.1999, leg. T. Andersson (on slide, in MZLU).

Remarks. The species was described from South Africa (Jaschhof & Mostovski 2006) and later reported from the Ivory Coast (Hippa 2008). The species is similar to M. pilosa but is easily distinguished by the short gonostylus as outlined in the key.
