Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from V. maculata and V. danasensis by the characters in the key above. Male, 4.0– 4.2 mm. Female, 4.7–4.9 mm.
Material Examined. 15 ♂ and ♀ paratypes: CHILE, Malleco Prov., Angol, 23-XII-1967, D.M. DeLong & T. Cekalovic. [OSUC]
Distribution. This species is known only from the type locality in Malleco Prov., Chile.
