Type host. Percichthys trucha (Cuvier & Valenciennes) (Pisces: Percichthyidae).

Site of infection. Posterior part of intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Province of Chubut, Lago Epuyén (42°11ʹS, 71°31ʹW).

Paratypes: MLP 5101.

Remarks. Holotype and 2 paratype deposited in the Colección Nacional de Parasitología in the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales B. Rivadavia, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
