Site of infection. Caeca.

Type locality. Argentina, Mendoza Province, San Carlos (34º16ʹS, 68º8ʹW).

Holotype: 3 MLP 6135. Paratypes: MLP 6136 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 6137.

Remarks. Other material in the Parasite Collection of the Harold W. Manter Laboratory of Parasitology of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska, and the National Parasite Collection, Bethesda, Maryland, USA (not mentioned as paratypes in the original description).
