Type host. Scapteromys aquaticus Thomas (Mammalia: Muridae).

Site of infection. Small intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Isla Talavera (33º53ʹ18ʹ S, 59º03ʹ59ʹ W).
