Paraheligmonella lamothei Digiani, Carreño & Durette –Desset, 2008

Type host. Sylvilagus floridanus (Allen) (Mammalia: Leporidae).

Site of infection. Small intestine.

Type locality. Costa Rica, Guanacaste, Los Almendros, Sector El Hacha, (11º00ʹ0 0ʹ N, 85º32ʹ0.9ʹ W).

Paratypes: MLP 5639 (13, 2ƤƤ).

Remarks. Holotype, allotype, and 4 paratypes deposited in the Colección Nacional de Helmintos, San José de Costa Rica; paratype 3 in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France; paratypes (13, 1Ƥ) in the Colección Nacional de Helmintos, México; paratypes (13, 1Ƥ) in the United States National Parasite Collection.
