Type host. Akodon azarae (Fischer) ( Rodentia, Cricetidae).

Site of infection. Pulmonary arteries.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Castelli, Cerro de la Gloria (36º06ʹS, 57º46ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5715. Paratypes: MLP 5716 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5717 (333, 1Ƥ). Reference. Robles et al. (2008b).
