Type host. Nymphs of Gryllodes laplatae Sauss (Insecta: Gryllidae). Site of infection. Intestine stomodeus.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, La Plata, City Bell (34º51ʹ58ʹ S, 58°2ʹ32ʹ W). Syntype: MLP 4848.
