REMARK. — Sometimes treated as conspecific with Onychognatus morio (Linnaeus, 1766), so all the records of O. morio from western Africa should be referred to O. neumanni including those from Burkina Faso (Borrow & Demey 2014; del Hoyo & Collar 2016).
