STATUS. — Palaearctic migrant.

REMARK. — Recent tracking experiments with more than 100 birds from the European Breeding range, show that very few individuals reach Burkina Faso in winter, only in extreme north (Sarà et al. 2019; Morinaj et al. 2020).
