North Central Coast: Hà Tĩnh (Hýõng Sõn; Sõn Hồng; Sõn Kim). Quảng Trị. Thừa Thiên Huế (A Lý ới).

Central Highlands: Lâm Đồng (Ðà L ạt, Mt. Langbiang).

General distribution. Oriental species, known from Southeastern Russia, Japan, Nepal, Vietnam, Korea, China.

Remarks. In the original description no type was chosen. Therefore, the only studied specimen is regarded as syntype. Syntype in coll. Denis at MNHN.
