Thalassaphorura Bagnall, 1949b: 503 .

Type species. Onychiurus thalassophilus Bagnall, 1937 .

Five species recorded in Vietnam, and some unidentified specimens from Đồng Nai (Cát Tiên national park) (EC: Shveenkova 2011), Kiên Giang (Hòn Chông) (CI: Deharveng et al. 2009).
