Hydraena (Hydraenopsis) (incertae sedis)

Seven species of uncertain relationships are placed here. The groups to which they belong will almost certainly be found north and northeast, in Afrotropical areas as yet inadequately sampled for Hydraena . Placement in Hydraenopsis is tentative, pending DNA sequence studies.
