Remarks. This species was described based on a single specimen from Brazil (Goiás). Breuning (1940a; 1974) did not specify the sex of the holotype. However, Monné (2024b) and Tavakilian and Chevillotte (2023) affirmed that the holotype is a male. Currently, it is known from Brazil (Goiás), Paraguay, and Uruguay (Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023).
Material examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso do Sul (new state record): Ladário, Área de Preservação Ambiental Baía Negra, 19°01’05.0”S 57°33’06.0”W, 1 specimen (ZUFMS-COL-00529), 17.XII.2021, A.F. Oliveira et al. leg. (ZUFMS) ; Salobra (Miranda), 1 male (MZSP 61257) , X.1938, no collector indicated (MZSP) .
