Remarks. This species was described based on a single specimen from Bolivia (Santa Cruz). Blanchard (1847) did not indicate the sex of the holotype. However, based on the original description and figure, it is a male, as supposed by Martins (2005) and formalized in Monné (2024a) and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023).
Currently, it is known from Brazil (Goiás and Mato Grosso), Bolivia (Santa Cruz, Tarija), Paraguay, Argentina (Catamarca, La Rioja, Santiago del Estero, Córdoba, Mendoza, and Buenos Aires), and Uruguay (Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023).
