Genus Spilogona Schnabl, 1911

Remarks.

Spilogona is a genus primarily of high altitudes and high latitudes. Of the 85 European species, only three are known from the Balkan Peninsula. Adults and larvae are predaceous (Werner and Pont 2006). Adults are mostly found in the vicinity of water, whilst the few known larvae are terrestrial and subaquatic.
