Distribution in Iran. Lorestan (Švihla 1999). Tehran: Elborz Mts. (Švihla 1999). Generic records: NW Iran (Švihla 1999), Iran (Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007).

Distribution outside Iran. Turkey (Švihla 1999; Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007). Remarks. Transitional forms between the two subspecies (funebris and marginiventris) are present both in Turkey (Hakkari province) and Iran (Kermanshah).
