Batoscelis oblonga (DEJEAN, 1831)

Material examined: Nepal: Narayani Prov., Chitwan D., Sauraha, Rapti River, near Hotel Riverside, 190 m, 27°34'29"N 84°29'55"E, 2.VII.2011, J. Kussner (1 - NME).

Widely distributed in the Oriental Region to Australia, and now recorded from Nepal for the first time: Chitwan District, in the south of the country.
