Current name: Hypericum prolificum L. ( Clusiaceae).

Note: Fernald & Schubert (in Rhodora 50: 167-168. 1948) agreed that 943.20 (LINN) was the type (illustrated in Plate 1101, f. 1-3), but questioned its identity. However, later authors (e.g. Svenson in Rhodora 54: 205. 1952; Robson in Bull. Nat. Hist. Mus. London, Bot. 26: 96. 1996) confirm that it belongs to H. prolificum of usage.
