Lectotype (designated here by Gottschlich): — GERMANY. Thuringia: Frankenhausen: auf Gips, am Schlachtberg, 14 June 1916, J. Bornmüller (B barcode B 10 0460424!).—Current name: Pilosella bifurca (Bieberstein 1808: 251) Schultz & Schultz Bipontinus (1862: 423).

Remarks: —Any infraspecific classification within these hybrid complexes should be avoided.
